Attorney Stephen G. Held is a General Practice Attorney of Mooney Law. He is working in the Lemoyne Office of Mooney Law. Attorney Held will bring his years of experience into the fields of Criminal Law, Civil Litigation, Estate Planning, Real Estate Matters, as well as Nursing Home Negligence Cases.
Attorney Held graduated Widener University Commonwealth Law School in 1994. While at Widener, he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and a certified legal intern, in the courtroom after the first year of law school representing the Commonwealth at the Philadelphia County district Attorney’s Office. In law school, Attorney Held also worked at the Widener Civil law Clinic, handling general practice matters for the indigent and elderly. He attended Millersville University of Pennsylvania, earning a bachelor’s degree in Political Science (1991).
Attorney Held is a litigator with almost 30 years of experience as a trial attorney representing injured persons by litigating automobile, slip and fall, premises liability, product liability, nursing home negligence and animal attack cases. He has obtained millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts on behalf of his clients at trial, mediation and arbitration.
Attorney Held is admitted to all courts in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, as well as United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Dauphin County Bar Association, and Cumberland County Bar Association.
Attorney Held resides in Harrisburg with his wife and daughter. Attorney held is a member of the Immune Deficiency Foundation, lobbying on behalf of individuals with immune system disorders. He enjoys travel, Penn State Football, Philadelphia Eagles Football, and military history.
