Mooney Law is proud to announce attorney Mark Buterbaugh has been named a “Rising Star of Pennsylvania” and “Super Lawyer” for his outstanding work in Personal Injury and Workers Compensation law. Only 5% of lawyers in Pennsylvania are designated “Super Lawyers” and even less, 2.5%, are named “Rising Stars.”
John Mooney commented, “We’ve always known Mark was a legal star. And so did his clients. It’s wonderful to see him finally get the recognition he deserves.”
Attorney Buterbaugh specializes in cases involving Workers Compensation, Social Security Disability, and personal Bankruptcy. He joined Mooney Law in 2012 and became a part-owner and managing partner in 2017.
Attorney Buterbaugh’s Rising Star award and Super Lawyer recognition comes after years of helping injured and disabled clients throughout Central Pennsylvania get the compensation they deserve. He has recovered millions of dollars in benefits and settlements for his clients, including wage loss benefits, medical benefits, and lump sum settlements.
“I continue to focus my practice on those that are vulnerable. Getting injured at work can be devastating not just physically, but emotionally and financially. Insurance carriers and employers can be quite intimidating. Signing complex forms and documents can be frightening. That’s why we do what we do at Mooney Law. We understand the law, the process, and insurance companies respect us. They know we fight hard for our clients. The recognition is wonderful. And I very much appreciate it. The only thing better is the recognition I receive from my clients,” Buterbaugh said.
Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The Super Lawyers list is published nationwide in the Super Lawyer Magazine and will be published individually in the Philadelphia Magazine and Pittsburgh Magazine.
