Mooney Law is also pleased to announce that Attorney Roberto Ugarte has recently been admitted to the Maryland State Bar to practice law in Maryland. Attorney Ugarte will expand his practice from Pennsylvania and begin to represent Maryland clients in all general practice matters across Northern and Central Maryland, including Carroll County, Frederick County, Harford County, Baltimore County, Baltimore City, Howard County and Anne Arundel County. Attorney Ugarte represents clients in criminal defense, divorce, custody, child support, adoption, guardianship, landlord/tenant, business formation, and civil litigation.
Attorney Ugarte joins fellow Attorney Paul Royer, as the second general practice attorney at Mooney Law to be admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland. In addition to the General Practice, Partners Jason Imler, Mark Buterbaugh, and Clayton Lingg are also licensed in the State of Maryland. Attorney Imler handles Auto Accidents and Wrongful death cases. Attorney Mark Buterbaugh handles Workers’ Compensation cases before the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Commission and is also admitted to practice before the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maryland. Attorney Clayton Lingg handles Estate Planning Estate Administration, and Elder Law in Maryland.
Attorney Ugarte joined the legal team of Mooney Law in the latter part of 2017 as a law clerk while he completed his final year of law school. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA in 2015, and his law degree from Widener University Commonwealth Law School in Harrisburg, PA in 2018. He lives with his wife and French bulldog in Baltimore, Maryland and will soon operate out of a Maryland office location.
