Attorney Paul Primrose joins Mooney Law

Paul C. Primrose

Mooney Law announced that Attorney Paul Primrose has joined the firm and will practice law out of the firm’s new Lemoyne, Pennsylvania office. Attorney Primrose joins Mooney Law’s general practice division handling general practice matters in Cumberland, Dauphin, and Perry Counties. These matters include Family Law, Divorce/Custody, Criminal Defense, and Civil Litigation. Attorney Primrose will also handle matters counseling small businesses and will also handle municipal solicitorships for Mooney Law.

Attorney Primrose graduated  magna cum laude from Townson University with a Bachelor’s Degree and then earned his Juris Doctorate law degree from Dickinson School of Law.  During law school, Attorney Primrose clerked with the Attorney General of Maryland and with the Public Defender’s Office in Howard County. After law school, Attorney Primrose was employed in the legal offices at the Pennsylvania State University working predominantly on contractual matters with Penn State.  Afterwards, he opened a solo practice in Carlisle, focusing his practice on Family Law and Civil Litigation.  In 2015, Attorney Primrose was recognized by the Cumberland County Bar Association for the annual Pro Bono Award.  Two years later, he earned the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Pro Bono Award.   With the Criminal Law focus of practice, Attorney Primrose has served in the Franklin and Cumberland County District Attorney offices, where he prosecuted cases from summary offenses to attempted homicide offenses.  Attorney Primrose accumulated years of trial and jury experience. Prior to joining Mooney Law, Attorney Primrose served in the role of Solicitor for Franklin County Children and Youth Services.   He has served in the House of Delegates for the Pennsylvania Bar Association and as Vice Chair of the Cumberland County Bar Association’s Pro Bono Committee.

The firm just opened it’s new Lemoyne office location in 2020 to better serve it’s growing client base in the West Shore area.  The new Lemoyne office is located at 1300 Market Street in Suite 301.

We are excited about adding Attorney Primrose  to lead our new Lemoyne office.  Our growing West Shore client base led us to open a new office in Lemoyne to bring our firm closer to those we serve.  We are so pleased to be able to add an attorney of the caliber of Paul Primrose to our attorney team.  He lives and works in Cumberland County.  Given his wealth of experience, excellent work ethic, and commitment to those he serves, he really fits Mooney Law well and we are pleased to have him lead our Lemyone/West Shore effort. Adding an attorney of Paul’s caliber is really a boom for our clients.   Mark A. Buterbaugh, Partner of Mooney Law.

Originally from Westminster, Maryland, Attorney Primrose has resided in Boiling Springs in Cumberland County for a number of years.
