One thing we are proud of is the community involvement, in all the communities we service, of our attorneys. Being involved in community service and/or volunteering our time is a core principle of our law firm.
Attorney Jason Imler is pictured below, along with his family, volunteering at the Hanover Area Council of Churches. Attorney Imler is one of the Leaders of the Soup Kitchen for the Provide-A-Lunch program. Those who participate in the Provide-A-Lunch are lucky folks. Attorney Imler has a reputation as a pretty good cook. So when his church was seeking volunteers to prepare meals for up to 120 people, he thought he was up to the challenge and volunteered to help.
The Provide-A-Lunch program serves a hot, nutritious, home-cooked lunch seven days a week. The meal is served 365 days-a-year. Anyone is welcome to come to this meal free of charge. The meal is prepared by volunteers from various churches in the Hanover, Pennsylvania area. Each church takes a turn on a different day of the month. Last Sunday was St. Joseph’s turn to man the kitchen. Attorney Imler and his family, along with many other volunteers, prepared the food, served, and cleaned up before going home to prepare Super Bowl Sunday.
Attorney Imler also volunteers as a member of the St. Joseph School Advisory Board of Education attending regular meetings to assist with strategic planning, financial stability, policy formulation, and providing consultative guidance in areas like marketing and development.
Just another example of Mooney in the Community!
