Scott M. Jocken
Attorney Scott M. Jocken, a native of Mechanicsburg, joined Mooney Law in January 2020 as an associate member of the firm. He began his legal career as an Assistant Public Defender in Lebanon County. Just prior to joining our legal team, Attorney Jocken worked as a Senior Assistant District Attorney in Cumberland County. In his previous roles, Attorney Jocken both prosecuted and defended hundreds of individuals charged with various criminal offenses ranging from DUIs to Homicides. Accordingly, through his previous experience, he has developed invaluable trial and litigation skills.
Attorney Jocken attended The Pennsylvania State University where he studied History, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Distinction in 2007. He was a member of the Phi Delta Theta History Honors Society as well as the Golden Key International Honors Society. Attorney Jocken went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law, graduating cum laude in 2011. During his time as a law student, he also served as the Junior and Senior Law Clerk to the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office.
Attorney Jocken operates out of our Gettysburg Office where he services clients throughout the Adams County area in all facets of general practice including criminal law, family law, and civil litigation. Attorney Jocken offers a deep understanding of the courtroom and legal process and is ready and willing to ensure that his clients receive top-notch legal representation.
When Attorney Jocken is not in the office or courtroom, he enjoys watching and participating in sports as well as spending time with his family.
